SAMARINDA – Tim dosen Program Studi Pendidikan Jasmani (Penjas) FKIP Universitas Mulawarman sukses menggelar kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) di Desa Manunggal Jaya, Kecamatan Tenggarong Seberang, Kutai Kartanegara pada 24 Juni 2026. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari Program BIMA 2026 yang didanai oleh DPPM Kemendiktisaintek. Dipimpin oleh Muhammad Sukron Fauzi, M.Pd. , bersama anggota tim Jance Jacob Sapulete, M.Pd. , dan Dewi Rosita, M.Kom. , PKM ini fokus pada peningkatan kapasitas pemuda Karang Taruna dalam mengukur kondisi fisik masyarakat berbasis sport science dan teknologi digital.
Inovasi Berbasis Platform DEBORA
Dalam pelatihan ini, para pemuda Karang Taruna diajarkan menggunakan berbagai instrumen pengukuran fisik modern, seperti:
Sit and reach test (fleksibilitas)Vertical jump test (daya ledak otot tungkai)Hand grip dynamometer (kekuatan genggaman)Menariknya, seluruh data hasil pengukuran langsung diolah menggunakan platform DEBORA (Desa Bina Olahraga) . Platform digital ini dirancang untuk mendokumentasikan, mengolah, dan melaporkan data kondisi fisik secara akurat, objektif, dan efisien, meninggalkan cara-cara konvensional. "Melalui platform DEBORA, kita mendorong pembinaan olahraga berbasis data (evidence-based sport coaching ) di tingkat desa dan kecamatan," ujar Sukron Fauzi.

Demi keberlanjutan program, seluruh alat tes pengukuran fisik yang digunakan langsung dihibahkan kepada pihak Karang Taruna. Selanjutnya, tim PKM FKIP Unmul akan melanjutkan program ke tahap kedua, yaitu sosialisasi dan implementasi website DEBORA untuk manajemen organisasi yang lebih terintegrasi.
